Life jackets and float vests, what's the difference?

The float vests mean a light flotation dress that gives a 50N (Newton) lift. Most of the vests sold are specifically floating vests for their comfort and general use. Life jackets are more sturdy and restrict movements in, for example, water sports, but give a 100n lift and turn the user upwards. All floating and life jackets are suitable for boating vests. In our range you will also find top-notch and comfortable Impact vests that do not have 50N CE rating (so not suitable for boating) because the vests are designed for speed and always have a pull boat driver to ensure safety.
