The redesigned Saimaa SUP Sun 10.6 (320x81x15cm / 10.6" x 32 x 6", 312L, 9,2kg) is one of the best all-round family boards on the market and is one of the flagship models in the Saimaa range. The board is made with the best and most durable materials (UV-protected Fusion PVC), which allow up to 25psi pressure. The board has integrated canoe seat mounts and convenient lifting handles at the ends of the board. The package is topped off with a stiff and lightweight carbon fiber paddle, quick-release fins (no loose/disposable parts!) and a three-year warranty.

Sun's design is based on the world's best-selling 10.6 all-round all-purpose board, including all brands, with its rounded shape and wide bow. The wide bow makes the board very stable even for beginners and makes it easy to carry larger children or dogs. The rounded shape makes the board easy to manoeuvre, even for a small person. The design of the board's base (rocker) and fin are designed to make it more suitable for touring than other brands. In Vesiurheilu.fi's tests, it was easy to get the board to glide well with a carbon fibre paddle, and the directional stability was surprisingly good despite the rounded shape, making the sup board suitable for longer trips. The board's sturdy but lightweight construction works for paddlers up to 140kg.
Thanks to the most durable Fusion PVC material on the market, the board performs great with as little as 15psi of pressure, which is easy to pump into the board. If you demand the best possible performance, the board can be pumped up to 25psi, which gives a body stiffness approaching that of a hard-bodied board. The board is easy to roll into a backpack thanks to the two-piece folding fin box, which also allows the board to bend from the middle of the fin box.
