O'Brien's Junior Vortex are 137cm wide-bodied children's water skis that will quickly introduce you to the fun world of water skiing! The Junior Vortexes make surface rises from the water a breeze and are a joy to make big, lazy turns on.
The extra-light surface area of the water ski adds lift and makes water skiing unprecedented easy and light, even at low speeds and with small outboard motors. The detachable boom makes it easy to practice surface climbing, so you can connect the skis together instead of one ski going left and the other right, which is easy for a first-timer! Even without the boom, the ski stays well aligned thanks to the double tunnel structure of the base. The second ski is equipped with a takaside, so the wide Junior Vortex also makes it easy to learn the secrets of single skiing - slalom water skiing.
Children's Vortexes are recommended for those weighing up to 65kg. The bindings are easily adjusted with a sliding quick-release to fit feet between 31 and 40 sizes.
