The Sit On Top Light is a 260cm long playful open kayak designed for children, which is a great choice as an affordable first kayak for children at the cottage beach. Wide and stable kayak is safe and easy for children, as there's no need to sneak in through the small seating area, which can be scary for the uninitiated. The kayak's large width-to-length ratio also makes it very stable for paddling and getting out of the water or from the dock. The bottom is designed to be directionally stable without a rudder, which tends to break when paddling in shallow water with children.

The kayak has a plastic backrest and footrests for children of different heights. The kayak has a recommended load capacity of 80kg (max 100kg), making it suitable for larger children or adults. There's a drinks bottle holder in front of the bench and storage for your belongings is provided by bungee cords stretching from the bow and a handy mesh lid for guaranteed storage.
The open kayak has carrying handles at both ends, with handles in the middle, making it easy to move the kayak alone or with two people. Blow mould manufacturing technology allows for a lighter construction and a lower price, which is ideal for children's kayaks. The equipment package includes a lightweight two-piece detachable aluminium paddle with plastic slats, 220cm long and weighing 950g. The paddle has a grip bar for the right hand, three different paddle angle adjustment options and drainage barriers on the platform. The paddle has a very comfortable grip and a good feel for paddling.
