The waterboard Valhalla is one of the longest lasting boards in the Obrien collection, and has also been a favourite among Obrien's pro-team boarders! The Valhalla's popularity has been due to its light weight and high floating position, allowing for easy surface tricks and enjoyable light cruising behind the boat. The board also has added buoyancy, making it easier for beginners to surface board than before.
But if jumps and faster cruising are your thing, the Valhalla has that too. The profile of the board has been changed to be smoother, making it easier to carry and allowing for bigger and more controlled jumps out of the wave. The already good glide of the board has also been improved. Obrien's Valhalla features a water-resistance-reducing V-shaped Delta Base in a slightly stiffer-than-average body. Combined with a rigid hull, the progressive rocker (= the best of the continuous rocker and 3-stage, i.e. flat midsection and rounded pitch) produces good air from the stern!
