Obrien GTX bandages are Velcro-attached, closed-loop bandages for wakeboarding that offer really good support for the feet. They are very light, supportive and fit your feet like a shoe! Three Velcro fasteners allow you to adjust the tightness and fit quickly and easily, making them ideal for cable wakeboarding where you need to open and close the bindings several times.
GTX bindings are built with a 2.5 degree inward sloping sole, which allows your feet to be at a more natural angle, reducing strain on longer sessions. The slight angle in the binding also improves the feel on the outside of the foot, giving you better control of the board.
The gel cushioning on the bottom of the binding (Gel Shock Impact technology) saves knees in big downshifts. Add to this the breathable and quick-drying material and the GTX is also the choice of the world's top wakeboarders.
The stiffness of the bindings is between medium and stiff.
