Saimaa Kayaks inflatable Expedition 2 is rigid and the fastest and most directionally stable model of inflatable kayaks for single or double camping. The sides and bottom of the kayak are made of the same material as SUP boards. dropstitch constructionwhich is very stiff and durable due to the higher inflation pressure. With this construction, the high quality Expedition 2 kayak is the closest thing to a hard kayak's glide that an inflatable kayak can be at all, because as little energy as possible goes into living the hull. The Expedition 2 kayak is multi-purpose, as solo paddling is easily accomplished by moving the bench to the middle, freeing up space for gear for even longer trips. A long waterline, narrower profile and two removable fins (centre and stern) keep the kayak perfectly aligned. For even more directional stability hard plastic V-shaped bow and stern braces, which also split the waves better and make landings easier by absorbing shocks. A handy upright splash guard on the foredeck helps keep the waves out.

The kayak floor is covered on the top with a durable EVA (cellular plastic) coating, which protects the floor and prevents slipping when getting in and out of the kayak. The edges of the kayak as well as the floor are their own air chambers, providing safety on the water. The bow and stern covers are made colourful so that the kayak can be seen from a distance in the waves. The bottom has a drain valve. The load capacity of the kayak is 210kg.
Benches are thicker than the standard fabric bench (7cm) and slightly cupped on the sides for extra support and comfort when paddling. The bench is well adjustable and has galvanised quick-release fasteners. The footrests also have fair adjustments and are adjustable from child to adult. All quick links and the integrated D-rings of the kayak are made of galvanised aluminium.
The aluminium paddle with plastic paddles is 220cm long and weighs 1050g. The paddle can be disassembled into four pieces, so it packs into a small space. The paddle has three different blade angle adjustment options, as well as spillage stops on the shaft.
The package includes two paddles, a bench and footrest, a fast dual function pump (pull and push), a carrying bag, two fins, deck straps for carrying your gear and a repair kit. The canoe can be quickly filled to paddling condition in about 15 minutes and easily packed back into the carrying bag in minutes. The quality kayak comes with a three-year warranty.
