Saimaa Kayaks Smart is an agile and easy to paddle kayak, which is suitable for every cottage for paddling trips on the local beaches and rivers. The 67cm wide and flatter profile of the bottom makes this kayak suitable even for first-timers. very stable and easy to handle. The 330cm length of the hull makes it easy to manoeuvre, so even smaller people or children can get the kayak to obey the steering. The Smart is a great choice for a first sit in kayak.

The Smart's rigid frame is made of polyethylene, which is very resistant to possible hits on the dock or rocks, both on the beach and in the water. The kayak has two watertight bulkheads that separate the bow, centre and stern. Storage space is provided in the smaller watertight packing compartments with rubber lids at the bow and the larger watertight packing compartment with rubber lids at the stern, and on deck under the deck straps. There is also storage space behind the back of the swivel seat.
The kayak has a removable 41cm long retractable rudder, which is steered by feet from the footrests. The footrests are adjustable with large adjustment levers for people of all sizes. The precisely shaped and padded bench with adjustable backrest is comfortable to paddle for longer periods. The kayak has front and rear carrying handles and deck handles.

It comes with a lightweight, two-piece removable aluminium and plastic paddle, 222cm long and weighing 950g. The paddle has a grip bar for the right hand, three different paddle angle adjustment options and drainage barriers on the platform. The paddle has a very comfortable grip and a good feel for paddling.
