Safe Life Jackets

Life jackets are safety devices with a buoyancy rating of at least 100N (N = Newton, indicating the amount of lift), designed for use in sheltered waters. They automatically turn the wearer face-up within 10 seconds and keep them afloat in a stable position. Most life jackets feature a collar that supports the head and helps keep the airways clear. Life jackets are especially recommended for children and adults with weaker swimming skills, as they turn the user face-up without any swimming movements and provide better flotation than buoyancy aids. Our selection includes high-quality Baltic Pro Sailor life jackets, available in sizes from infants to adults. Models with 150N buoyancy offer even greater flotation and can turn an unconscious person face-up more easily. The 275N models represent the highest level of safety and are designed for extreme offshore conditions. Please note that in addition to swimming ability, the user’s weight also affects the required buoyancy level.
