Saimaa Kayaks' double Sit On Top 2 (SOT) open kayak is a real kayak for the whole familywhich can also accommodate a child between the benches in the middle of the boat. In the comfortable Sit On Top 2 kayak you don't have to worry about tipping over, because the SOT 2 is a the widest and most stable in our range with a width of 86cm. With a durable polyethylene hull and no removable fins, rudder or other parts that can be lost or broken, it's a very worry-free kayak to use. The SOT 2 is is an excellent choice for a lightweight all-purpose kayak for the cottage or rental house.

The "sit on top" open kayak is ideal for people who don't want to squeeze through the small opening inside the kayak or feel uncomfortable sitting inside a rickety kayak. The kayak can be used with or without the soft seats included in the equipment package; the bottom has a shaped seating area with a low backrest for the lower back. For both paddlers, there's a drinks bottle holder in front of the seat within easy reach, as well as a waterproof storage bag for valuables. A bungee cord in the back of the open kayak makes it easy to secure camping gear underneath. The open kayak also has a holey pole/shark holders behind the rear bench, so fishing is also possible with the sit on top 2.
The sides of the Avokajak have handy paddle racks, where you can keep your paddles when taking a break or doing other activities where you need to keep your hands free. The kayak has carrying handles at both ends, plus handles embedded in the middle, making it easy to move the kayak between the two of you. The frame is made of strong polyethylene, which resists grounding and possible hits on rocks and docks on the beach.
The equipment package includes two lightweight two-piece paddles with removable aluminium plastic paddles, 240cm long and weighing 980g. The paddle shaft has a grab bar for the right hand, three different paddle angle adjustment options and drainage barriers on the platform. The paddle has a very comfortable grip and a good feel for paddling.
