The Feather backpacking raft is the lightest and most compact backpacking raft in the Saimaa Kayaks Packraft range, measuring only 30x25x15cm when packed! Weighing only a couple of kilos, the packraft is easy to carry on hikes, bike rides, motorbikes, boats, caravans or anywhere else - weight and space are not a problem! Despite the ultra-lightweight construction, the material is strong and durable TPU nylon. The package comes with a waterproof carrying bag for the packraft, which also serves as a protection for other items while paddling. The carrying bag has excellent attachment possibilities to the packraft, as well as to a backpack, bike, etc. when carrying the packraft.
The packraft has a carrying capacity of 120kg, so it can be used for crossing waterways with lightweight camping gear or for a small-scale fishing trip on a motorbike. A removable fin attached to the bottom helps with directional stability. The Feather is an excellent choice for trips where most of the journey is overland, but sometimes a lightweight raft is needed to cross rivers, lakes and other bodies of water.
The backpacking board has handy carrying handles at the bow and stern, and good attachment possibilities with the 6 attachment points on the outer edges of the pontoon for equipment and other personalised solutions.

The lightweight aluminium paddle with plastic blades is 222cm long and weighs 950g. The paddle can be dismantled into four parts, so it can be carried in a small space when travelling. The paddle has three different blade angle adjustment options, as well as spillage protection on the platform and shaft.
The package includes everything you need: paddle, inflatable seat and backrest, fin, filling bag for filling the board, waterproof carrying bag for transport and repair material.
Made of durable and tear-resistant TPU nylon material: pontoons 210D, floor 420D TPU nylon. Packraft has a three-year warranty.
